Facilities and Services

In the base area there are five main structures. As you walk from the parking lot, the Eagle Mount Billings building is the first building on your left, The second building on your left houses Equipment Rentals, The Mountain Shop and Management Offices. The right side of the building houses the Repair Shop.

The Main Lodge is the centerpiece structure in the base area and houses Mike Mills Memorial Base Patrol, Ticket Windows and Red Tent sign up for Ski Lessons and Lost and Found. Locker rooms and bathrooms are on the bottom floor. The main floor is the Dining Facility and the top floor has an additional dining area.

The building to the right of the Main Lodge houses the Bierstube on the main floor, bathrooms and employee areas on the bottom floor.

 

The first building on the right side houses Lift Operations and Snow Sports office space.

Beyond employee parking are Maintenance and Supply buildings.

The top of the Triple chair lift is Patrol Dispatch where patrollers are assigned, to include a Dispatcher responsible for communications and documenting the day’s events. There is an elevated platform behind the hut for practicing chair lift evacuation. There is a portable toilet near Dispatch off Sidesaddle.

Behind Dispatch hut is a small hut (Old Dispatch) where patrol equipment and supplies are stored.

As you exit the Willow Creek lift, there is the Willow Creek hut used on occasion but typically not manned.

At the base of Grizzly Peak chair lift is Midway Chalet. Food and beverage services are on the main floor and Lift Maintenance as well as bathrooms are on the bottom floor. Outside, between Midway and the lift is a trash and recycle bin where patrollers will take bagged trash and recycle.

 

Located at the top of Grizzly Peak is the Summit Patrol station named in honor of Ken Hancock. The hut is open to the public as a warming space where brown bag lunches are welcome, when the Grizzly Peak chairlift is operating and Ski Patrol is on site. In the lower area there is bamboo, hazard signs, and halloween rope. There is a deck on the back of the hut open to the public and popular for photos and brown bag lunch. The Forest Service has a bathroom facility adjacent to the hut however it has been closed. Guests must ski to Midway for bathrooms.

Cole Creek hut is at the top of Cole Creek lift where patrollers are assigned. There are no bathroom facilities on Cole Creek. At the bottom of Cole Creek and Palisades lifts there are portable toilets.

The Silver Run Ski Club has upgraded the old Midway Express hut.
