Knots and Hitches test

Your first knowledge and skills test will be tying the various knots and hitches required to perform our daily and emergency duties. Whether at home or on patrol, continuously practice these knots and hitches until you can tie with eyes closed. Refer to Knots and Hitches webpage for instruction, as well as seasoned patrollers on duty days. You are not required to patrol on this date, but you are required to be tested by this date and you will be required to demonstrate several knots, not all of them.
